Simulation
Harborline Tycoon
★★★★☆ 4.0
Harborline Tycoon is a management sim where you run a growing seaport. You schedule ships, upgrade cranes, and try to keep the whole operation from grinding into a traffic jam. It scratches the same itch as a good logistics puzzle.
The satisfaction comes from optimisation. Early on you're firefighting, but once you understand the systems you start designing a port that mostly runs itself, and watching that flow is oddly relaxing. The tutorial is a bit dry, though.
It doesn't have a strong endgame, and eventually you run out of meaningful upgrades. Getting there is a genuinely good time, and it plays perfectly in short sessions between other things.
What we liked
- Deep logistics optimisation
- Relaxing once systems click
- Great for short sessions
