Siege of Thornhold
★★★★☆ 4.3
Siege of Thornhold sits right in our wheelhouse: it's a strategy game about defending a keep, but the real puzzle is how you shape the map itself. You build walls, gates, and towers, and the enemy pathing reacts, so a good layout can trivialise a wave that looked impossible.
Resource management adds real tension. You never have quite enough stone, so you're always choosing between a new tower and repairs to a wall you know is going to break. Those small decisions pile up into genuinely different playthroughs.
The pacing between waves can feel slow if you rush, but slowing down is the point. It's a thinking game that happens to look great on a tablet, and it never nags you with pushy timers.
