Coin Strike: why this tiny arcade game stuck on my phone

I installed Coin Strike as a joke, honestly. The screenshots looked like a hundred other tap games, and I assumed it would be gone by lunch. Instead it survived a full commute cycle and two evenings on the couch, which for a phone game is basically a miracle.

The core loop is dead simple. Coins slide across the board, you flick them into matching slots, and the whole thing speeds up until your thumb starts making mistakes. What makes Coin Strike click is the timing. Clean chains feel amazing, and there's a rhythm to good runs that you start chasing.

My advice: don't tap frantically. The game quietly rewards patience, and waiting half a second for two coins to line up beats spamming the screen. On the harder boards I started aiming for chain multipliers instead of raw speed, and my scores jumped.

Performance was smooth even on our older test phone, and the sessions are short enough that it never overstays its welcome. It's not deep, but as a pure reflex arcade game, Coin Strike is one of the more polished small titles I've played this year.
