Nitro District
★★★★☆ 4.1
Nitro District doesn't pretend to be a simulator, and that's exactly why it works on a phone. Steering is handled by tilt or on-screen buttons, and drifting fills a boost meter you dump on the straights. It's loud, fast, and immediately understandable.
The track design is the standout. Corners are built for sliding, shortcuts reward memorisation, and rival cars are aggressive enough to keep races honest. Car upgrades are cosmetic-plus-performance, so tuning actually feels like it matters.
It gets repetitive if you binge it, and the later tracks reuse a few too many assets. In short bursts, though, it's one of the most fun mobile racers we've had on the review phones.
